What is Hypnosis?

In hypnosis, you are not asleep; you’re in a state of calm relaxation, yet your mind is very focussed and alert. In this state, which is somewhere between the alpha and theta brainwave state, you have access to your subconscious mind where all your memories, programmes and deeply held beliefs are stored.

In this calm, alert state of mind we also gain access to a higher state of consciousness where you’re able to tap into the inner wisdom of your true Self. Being in this state of calm open mindedness enables you to gain greater insight and understanding of the problems or challenges you’re facing, see things from different perspectives, and gain greater clarity about the choices you have to move forward in your life. Discovering your own truth through insight is hugely liberating, enlightening and empowering.

I may also offers insights and suggestions for you to consider, which you can choose to accept or not. The process is always in the direction of your best interests to help you achieve your desired outcome.

I definitely feel empowered … there’s a sense of ‘I’m in control’ post each session with Helen. The work that Helen has done with me is extremely personal and deep, and she has every quality that one would hope for when releasing such traumatic and life changing experiences. I passed my next test with 100% and finished my year strongly.

I have only had two sessions of hypnotherapy with Helen but already I’m seeing changes in my behaviour and life patterns.  Day to day life does not feel so exhausting and I feel more relaxed in the things I do.  The sessions were very simple, easy to attend and relaxing.
